Many huge congratulations to Melissa Travers who has successfully passed her Intermediate Tap exam, a big achievement. And also to Charlotte Bandle who passed her Advanced 2 Ballet Exam, the last exam you can take with the RAD. She has worked constantly hard all the years I have taught her (over 13 years now) and can hang up her ballet shoes with pride.
Thank you and well done also to all the girls who took part in the Tring Christmas Festival, you dance beautifully

Goodbye and Good luck
We have several girls leaving us this year having been with the school for over 10 years. Heather Christie and Grace Doe are going to university in September. Jessica Howell will be continuing her dance training at The Royal Academy of Dance where she will be training to teach and Jessica Arnold is leaving us for The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she will continue her classical training at the highest level. It has been a pleasure and joy to teach them over the years and we wish them all the best and hope they stay in contact.
Congratulations to Jessica Arnold who has been offered several places at dance school some including scholarships to Northern Ballet School, and Tring Park and Royal Scottish Academy. She is still considering her options .
Good Luck to all those doing school exams this year, we have many students taking GCSEs and A levels.
Well done to the Grade 5 Ballet girls who took their exam last term, wonderful results.

Huge Congratulations to Jessica Howell who has been accepted to the Royal Academy of Dance onto their 3 year degree teacher training programme.
Autumn 2010
Congratulations to Luci Swain who gained her Advanced 1 RAD ballet with merit and to Jessica Arnold who also took her Advanced 1 and passed with distinction. Both are wonderful results achieved with a lot of hard work. Well done.

Congratulations to Jessica Arnold, Eleanor Barham, Naomi Brehm, Abi Thomson and Joe Weir who have all successfully auditioned for English Youth Ballet to perform in the Nutcracker in November. Jessica Arnold also was awarded the "most outstanding student" scholarship. Well done to all those who auditioned even if you werent successful, we are proud that you tried

Congratulations to Jessica Howell who passed her RAD Intermediate ballet exam with a well earned Merit
The summer RAD exams will be held on Sunday 4th July for those we feel are ready. The ISTD date is still to be confirmed.
The school has arranged a trip to see Peter Pan by Northern Ballet Theater at Milton Keynes on Thursday 22nd April. Micheal Berkin, who gave a masterclass at the beginning of the year will be dancing. We have 20 stall tickets priced £22. If you would like tickets please speak to Jenny, they will be sold on a first come first serve basis.
After the success of the master classes held with Micheal Berkin we are hoping to hold another one later in the term. We will post the dates when they are confirmed.

foundation ballet exam with distinction at the beginning of the year. Also to Charlotte Bandle our passed her Advanced 2 tap which is the highest tap exam possible

Congratulations to Eleanor Barham, Melissa Travers and Jessica Arnold who took part in the English Youth Ballet summer school and production of Coppelia. All the girls danced really well and looked beautiful on stage!
